We planned to spend only one and a half and a day visiting Monterey and driving iconic Pacific Coast Highway 1 through Big Sur. It showed that it is not enough time for the proper visit of all the jams Big Sur is may offer us – Old Monterey, 17-Mile Drive + famous Lone Cypress and all the magical vista points (see photos in this article), Bixby Creek Bridge, Little Sur River Beach or McWay Falls

Sadly we did not have time to visit: Point Lobos State Natural Reserve + Whaler’s Cove, Pfeiffer Beach, Salmon Creek Falls or Santa Barbara.

So our New Year’s resolution this year would be to find some time and re-visited those places once more in the future! :)
